OPTOMI HONORS A VETERAN OF ITS OWN

May, 2013 • Roswell, Georgia | As an IT staffing firm founded on strong core values, Optomi’s principles align with military principles in many ways. The company’s philosophy of loyalty to Company, Team and then Self is reminiscent of the military dedication to God, Country, Corps, Family, Self. Veterans tend to value teamwork, thrive in fast-paced environments and have a unique ability to adapt to adversity. Optomi recognizes that no one understands these philosophies and is able to apply them to business challenges better than the veterans who have lived them.

This Memorial Day weekend, the entire Optomi team recognizes one of its own, Daniel Guelzo. Optomi is proud to honor his nine years of service in the Navy where Daniel earned a Navy Combat Action award as well as two Navy Achievement awards during his five deployments. The leadership, dedication, resolve and integrity of Mr. Guelzo has contributed significantly to the success of the company. On the Friday before Memorial Day, the Atlanta-based firm honored him with a catered breakfast.

Optomi Chief Operating Officer Todd Black remarked, “We wanted to recognize Daniel for his service to his country as well as to Optomi. We appreciate his character and commitment. I have no doubt his experience in the military helped make him the exemplary leader he is at our firm. We’re fortunate to have him as part of the Optomi family.”

Led by co-founders Michael Winwood (formerly the President & COO of Technisource) and Todd Black (formerly the Senior Vice President of Technisource), Optomi has a presence in the Atlanta and Chicago markets and will be expanding to Dallas, TX later this summer.
