IT STAFFING COMPANY OPTOMI EXPANDS – OPENING 7TH OFFICE
February 26, 2015

Optomi, a leading IT staffing company, continues to expand its national

footprint by entering the Detroit, Michigan market. The opening marks the firm’s seventh IT staffing hub since the fourth quarter of 2012. This latest expansion continues Optomi’s momentum as one of the fastest organically growing IT staffing firms in the US. Headquartered in Atlanta, Optomi has offices in Chicago, Dallas, Baltimore/Washington DC, Orange County, Los Angeles and now Detroit.

Expansion into the Michigan area increases the capacity for the firm to supply IT jobs. Optomi specializes in deploying project managers, business analysts and technologists in the ever evolving spaces of mobile technology, network design, cloud and application development. Optomi’s niche approach and dedicated focus on higher-end IT skills enables the firm to better identify candidates with these in-demand skills.

By being well-positioned to serve Fortune 500 clients as well as mid-sized clients and start-ups through its skill-set focused strategy, the firm expects to be highly competitive in the region.

Optomi CEO Michael Winwood remarked, “We are delighted to continue our national expansion into Michigan. We have been highly encouraged by the recovery we have seen in this market and have already established a client base that recognizes our unique approach to finding high-end in-demand IT talent. Our local team led by Laura Chevalier, our VP of National Accounts, is well positioned to establish Optomi as an IT staffing leader in the Michigan market.”

Laura Chevalier commented, “Detroit continues to grow as an innovative and high-growth IT market. We are excited to partner with consultants and companies that value our genuine approach, appreciate our core differentiators and recognize the importance of making a positive impact on the communities in which we live. We are looking forward to further expanding our chariatble efforts and take great pride in bringing our Optomi CARE program to Michigan as we partner with the Gleaner’s Foodbank to supply children with weekend meal bags.”

Led by co-founders Michael Winwood (formerly the President & COO of Technisource) and Todd Black (formerly the Senior Vice President of Technisource), Optomi is driving tomorrow’s technology with today’s optimum talent.
