We recently had the pleasure of serving on the planning committee and attending the MobilityLive conference that took place in Atlanta September 22-23. This year marked the second annual conference focused on bringing together industry leaders in mobile technology with the hopes of making Atlanta the capital of mobile innovation. Over the course of the weekend, we (along with most conference attendees) had our minds blown by some of the incredible technological innovation coming out of some big names… AT&T, Lord & Taylor, Turner to name a few.

The conference highlighted significant advances coming in our very near future. AT&T has big plans for connected cars, a connected life, connected cities. If you haven’t heard about these developments, we would highly recommend exploring the web and checking it out. It’s incredible, it’s a little scary and it’s coming a lot quicker than you could imagine. In fact, it’s here. Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Volvo have already partnered with AT&T and debuted several of their cars, which act as Wi-Fi hotspots so you’ll never have to worry about being able to upload those vacation pictures on your long drive back home (so long as you’re not driving, of course #itcanwait). That’s just the first wave of great new things. Next thing you know, you’ll be telling Scotty to beam you up.
