Optomi D.C. Volunteers at The Clothesline for Arlington Kids

Our team out in D.C. spent 2 days volunteering at The Clothesline for Arlington Kids! The group sorted through clothing, preparing it for display and drives at neighborhood schools.

The Clothesline’s mission is to provide clean, gently used clothing to low-income, school-aged kids in the community. The Clothesline is Arlington’s first free clothing store dedicated to school-aged children. The Clothesline’s welcoming, retail-like store allows kids and families in need to shop in the store for clothing just like everyone else. They do this semi-annually, completely free of charge.

The charity is actively accepting clothing donations to support their mission. They are specifically in search of clothing for school-aged kids (grades K-12).
