Optomi Detroit Partners with The Power Company Kids for the 10th Annual Opt2give Day

The Detroit team kicked off their 10th annual Opt2give Day volunteering at The Power Company Kids where they wrapped gifts for at-risk youth. The program is called “Christmas Joy” and is geared towards creating a joyful holiday experience for children who may not be receiving gifts this season.

The Power Company Kids promotes the emotional, physical, spiritual and social well-being of at risk children and adolescents in our inner cities through mentoring, weekly programs, and partnerships with parents, churches, schools, civic leaders, and community organizations. According to their website, thousands of Detroit’s children are innocent victims of generational poverty.
